Attorney Andrew Popp focuses his law practice on Elder Law and Estate Planning. He is results-oriented, relying on his exceptional legal knowledge and successful litigation techniques to achieve results.
Andrew obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. He then attended Stetson Law School, where he acquired his Juris Doctor with a concentration in advocacy.
While at Stetson, he received numerous awards, including the Doyle Conflict Resolution Inc. Top Grade Award and the Leadership Development certificate.
Upon graduation, Andrew served as an Assistant State Attorney. He handled criminal cases from initial investigation through trial and appeals and prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases. He gained extensive first and second chair trial experience in both bench and jury trials.
After leaving the prosecutor’s office, Andrew decided to dedicate his career to assisting clients with Elder Law Issues. Motivated by his passion for defending his clients’ interests, he acquired an in-depth knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, estates, and Medicaid planning.
Andrew is well versed in the various techniques available to protect his client’s assets from being taken away upon entering a nursing home.
He has seen far too many examples where families have waited too long to set their affairs in order, and the damage it can cause. He provides Ohio residents with advice on proper planning concerning their hard-earned assets.
