James Curtis received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2005. For the next few years he worked in Seattle in several firms where he gained experience in legal research and writing, drafting motions, conducting interviews and depositions, and case evaluation. In 2007 he began working as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Pierce County (Tacoma). He has conducted over 70 jury trials involving murder, vehicular homicide, assault, robbery, and driving under the influence, to name a few. He has negotiated plea settlements, cooperation agreements, and sentencing alternatives.
In 2019, Mr. Curtis decided to branch out into operating his own firm, where he could best express his skills, temperament, and work ethic.
