I am proud to have taught at Tufts University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Community Medicine where I worked closely with medical and rehabilitation personnel. I also served as Counsel to the McLean Hospital Institute of Law and Psychiatry as attorney for the Institute’s psychiatric staff.

I also served as Counsel to the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council.

I have devoted my time to serving those with traumatic brain injuries as well as those who treat persons with TBI. I am a former President and Treasurer of the Massachusetts Brain Injury Association and a current member of its Board and Executive Committee.

For last 37 years, I have served as Co-Chairman of the North American Brain Injury Society’s Legal Conference, the nation’s longest legal program devoted to the rights of person’s with traumatic brain injury. I previously served as the Medical Legal Editor of the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation, authored a chapter in Dr. Mitchell Rosenthal’s seminal book, “Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured Adult and Child”.

For the last 45 years I have represented plaintiffs with traumatic brain injury in Massachusetts and in other states across the country. My brain injury litigation experience includes representing hundreds of individuals in claims involving motor vehicle collisions, sports injuries, medical malpractice and negligent security, as well as victims of violent crime.

I have been chosen as a Super Lawyer in Massachusetts and New England and received each year the highest recognition for ethics and integrity by Martindale Hubbell with an AV rating for more than15 years.
