Ms. Sarantakis is the Founding Attorney of Sarantakis Law Group, Ltd. in Oak Brook, IL. She concentrates her legal practice in domestic relations. In addition to her work in the courtroom, she is versed in alternative methods of dispute resolution as a mediator, Guardian ad Litem, and Fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. She was recently recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, named as one of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under 40 in Illinois by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, and featured as a Fellow of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.
Ms. Sarantakis is active in the legal community and leads several committees with the American Bar Association, is an elected Assembly member and Young Lawyers Division Member of the Illinois State Bar Association, and serves on the Board of Governors of the West Suburban Bar Association. She is also a Young Professionals Board Member of Illinois Legal Aid Online and as an Associate Board Member of the Lawyers Assistance Program of Illinois.
Ms. Sarantakis obtained her Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School. She achieved academic distinction by serving on The John Marshall Law Review and earning three CALI Awards, for the highest grades in her class for constitutional law, evidence, and white collar crime. During that time she clerked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas L. Kilbride of the Illinois Supreme Court. Ms. Sarantakis also previously externed with the Kenosha County State’s Attorneys Office and Kenosha County Public Defenders Office while obtaining her Bachelor of Arts from Carthage College.
