Ross C. Nigro, Jr., graduated from the University of Kansas with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and History. Mr. Nigro obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City – School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Nigro worked as a law clerk with the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of Missouri in Jackson County, Missouri. Mr. Nigro then went on to work as an Assistant Jackson County Counselor handling county prosecutions and civil rights violations. Since 1997, Mr. Nigro has been in private practice, where he has concentrated his practice in the criminal defense field.
Mr. Nigro has over twelve years of prosecuting experience. Mr. Nigro is currently the Raytown Prosecuting Attorney, a position he has held for ten years.
Mr. Nigro is currently holding the position of Secretary on the Law Alumni Association Board for the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Mr. Nigro served two terms as President of the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Prosecutor’s Association from 2006 to 2009. He has received numerous awards and citations from Martindale-Hubbard and Who’s Who. Mr. Nigro has a AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbard.
